So does a GTX295 count as having a SLI rig? Please do not make me install my GTX260 cards...

Yes it counted! Cuz once you register sli club, they will check your pc setting and will pass your gtx 295 as sli same with 9800gx2. Here more info http://www.slizone.com/content.....ubsli.html

Although its AWESOME that nVidia is bringing a yet-to-be released card to the LAN, I wish it was available to none-SLI club members. I own an nVIdia card, but no SLI :/
But I regress...

The funny thing is that unless they've updated the detection agent my tri-sli rig doesn't qualify as SLI
I'm not sure what I'm bringing as I'm waiting for a $5 part to be delivered which is required to install my cpu cooler.

I'm unable to sign up for club SLI sporting a GTX295, multi-gpu mode is enabled and the tool detects it as two devices. Does the tool have any Win7 compatibility issues?

I'm really not sure on Win7. I do know that the tool is rather limited and many SLI configurations do not work such as Tri and some laptop SLI. I'm not sure if an x2 style card also has issues or not. Strictly speaking it uses SLI technology but I don't know if they even consider it "SLI" since I think the point of club membership is to promote and reward multiple card purchases.
If you are not already a club SLI member then you could certainly register on someone else's computer at the LAN and if you're a winner they could just do a visual inspection.

Being their contest, they get to set the rules. That's the way it is, and I'm proud that they are willing to showcase this hardware at PDXLAN regardless of that fact that I cannot afford a SLi rig or anything even close.

Hey Guys
I see that some of you are having issues signing up for club SLI. The issue is largely to do with 3-way SLI and the scanner not recognizing. We know it's an issue and it's something we've been working on fixing.
Easy solution is to just take out one card and run 2-way SLI during the scan. That should get you in. If you've got them water cooled and can't take one card out, just send me a pm over in the SLI forums and I'll make sure you get added.

Also can just remove 3 way sli bridge and install normal 2 way sli bridge and will work that way, that easy way to do with out get gpu out.

The bridge just acts like additional PCI-E lanes for data transfer. SLI still works without it so I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do short of pulling a card.
