Painting psu is there any easy to paint them i have taken them apart but it seems that no matter what i do i would need to unsolder the power input and cut off switch so just wondering if anyone had any tips or if i just have to mask off the entire inside of the psu thanks.

I'm confused; the only part of a PSU you can really paint is the shell; which you would just detach and paint like anything else; usually there are about 4-8 screws that you need to remove in order to detach it form the rest of the PSU. After you do that it's really easy to paint it.

Some don't come apart all the way. They run the wires through a hole, then solder them on and put it together.
You can cut and re-solder the wires. This way you can make them the length you want also.
