Stiffler is right, some TV's can do 1080p through componet....my westinghouse can.

I still can't belive how set people are on the ps3 and its "better HD quality".....come over and see my Elite and an HD DVD....needless to say, my PS3 is back in the box.....until lair is out...then it might see another hour of play time

Dude I see no difference in PQ between the PS3 and Elite for movies. The deal is not all movies are available on HD DVD so if you have a PS3 it makes sense to use it for those titles you can only get in BR. The thing that has collected dust is my damned Toshiba first gen HD DVD unit that is limited to 1080i and loads slower than my reactions while playing BF2 and any other FPS on the planet . . .

yeah, little big planet is going to own, but i saw its not out till this time next year.
