Well, I am back at it. Revived some long dead projects to get started...working with stuff I already have, left buried in my garage.
Never Blog'd before, so I thougth I would test out that delivery method. Simpler than my old method of upload to Photobucket. add captions, then notepad out the content for posting to multiple forums, then work up HTML for my own site, etc.
I can post directly from my Android, even the video, Google hosts for free, and you can customize your backbround and layout pretty nicely.
Any interested, go have a look:

While I wait for potential Z68 mITX boards, the rest of the work will be ongoing...

Good luck with it.

Can you change the font in the body of your posts? You should use Sans Serif fonts for web reading.

hope some of you PDXers have been following along.
Lots of little coming to wrap up, some big things just about to go in, etc.
Keep watching!

just curious what benchmarks the gang would be interested in seeing from an ITX rig.
HDD tests?
Futuremark?
ATTO bench?
I could run any free tests you guys are interested in, just post em up!
2500K stock due to H67 limits watercooled ready when Z68 comes out
2X4Gig RAM downclocked to 1333 due to H67 limits ready for 1600 when Z68 comes out
Intel 160Gig X-25 SSD ready for 6Gig when I can afford a new SSD
480GTX on water
2X140mm radiators with low volume fans
I will start with WEI and some speedfan temps in the blog and then see what other benches you might want to see (free ones please ).

I've been thinking for some time that maybe I want to go ITX for a LAN rig so your experience could push me one way or the other.

This, I've been very interested to see how 2500k on a itx platform performs.

so far I haven't seen any "real world" decrease going from a 980X w/HT on (stock) with 6Gig TriChannel to this 2500K (stock) with only 4Gig Dual Channel.
I game at 1690X1050 (iZ3D) and my 480GTX allows most everything at 4XAA or better with max-custom-ultra as high as I can set it (even Rift with all sliders maxed out and Smoothing on).
Maybe at PDXLAN you come by my seat and sit and play for yourself a bit...I don't own Crysis2, but I have COD:BO, and DDO, and Portal 2, and MNC, and some other stuff.
For the other stuff, check out the Blog feed for the updates already. Still more to come and then I will try to Multiplier OC this little badboy.

Would like to see Furmark temps OTher than that I will just be glad to see you have tons of people around you checking out your mod - as it should be. You are the modder who started the rage at PDXLAN - you deserve a CPU Mag cover if anyone does . . .and it is SO overdue

lol, while I appreciate the endorsement DB, of all my previous cases, this one is LEAST likely to be a judging focus.
It IS the one MOST for me though.
Carrying case, integrated handle, portable, high cooling, quiet, watercooled, and totally unique!
I will get Furmark temps in the next batch of Bloggin'
EDIT: Furmark is blogg'd
