Now addicted to minecraft - and here is a PDXLan server

Yes my server is dedicated, the box runs nothing but minecraft atm. I will try to get those mods back online tonight however my computers boot drive took a dump on sunday so i have to reinstall windows.

You guys should add me on FB or G+ heck or even text me if you need anything on the server. Week days do not allow me much time for gaming and my phone alerts me to everything below. (pdxlan needs a APP could be so usefull during events).

CrazyNomad, I have verified that craftbukkit works with 1.8 I have it up and running on my server with runecraft, worldedit, and commandbook running right now. lets get it back onto the server that more people play on then mine.

Consumed a few months of my life and was my first "major project" in Minecraft.

Map 3/7 spawn. The buildings outside the initial ring where added by admins for different reasons..bleh, it ruined it inmho.

Some people are incredible. I am less artist and more technical. I am able to do pretty complex redstone and piston machines but my buildings usually end up being ye old log cabin, or medieval castle lol.

it takes a huge amount of time, but one way people get more "detailed" structures is by building in macro. So for a computer screen it would be like 6x6 glass panes. I'd love to see it!

haha man when pistons first were added my friend and I logged a good 20 hours just setting up traps. My buddy is actually even better at it than I am. He built this hilarious trap on our last server that had the floor fall out from under you and reclose to seal you in, and the room started filling with water, and right as you started to drown, it would drain, and then JUST as you thought "Man he got me good" it would drop you into lava. So great.

I just got Minecraft so if you're bored and have XFIRE, feel free to shoot me a message to see if I'm available to hang out in-game/voice comms. I hate crafting so I'm happy just following around gathering resources and dropping them in a box if needbe, at least until I learn more.

I played it for the first time for hours last night and the game sucked but I had a friend and my brother playing and in voice comms so I learned a lot plus it was fun in a weird time wasting way. I can understand what the hype was all about.

Any web resources would be helpful too if you want to PM me or post them here. I've just been to the official site and a couple wikis thus far. My friend had me go to a popular fansite with videos but I can't remember what it was.

My brother and I got the server installed on our own computers but we had a crash and it rolled the two clients back setting us back hours. We ended up going somewhere else and found a new place to dig / adventure. I'm happy to say I didn't get owned by lava, but I did drown, have sand/gravel fall on my head, and get wtfpwnt at night. Apparently, I have some mods both client side/server side to get as well, at least for character skins.
