If I understand correctly, a console counts as a computer, so you need to have a second table to use one.

I have a second seat for my 360, and I know quite a few other people do as well. So if you want to bring one, there will be people to play with...

I'd asume that'd work.. but I know vector wasn't happy at PDXLAN 9, because everyone was using consoles but leaving their PCs on. IDK what the deal is with second seats however...

You can only bring your consoles if you have purchased a second seat (1 computer per seat)

Oh, well what if we move our computer (I'm bringing a laptop) back to our hotel when we are using the consoles or just unplug the ethernet cable from our comps. I mean, its not like I'm gonna be taking up more space...lol.

Power bill.

600+ PC's takes up a lot of power. Factor in even 50 consoles, which take up just as much as a PC, and the bill goes up even more.

You gotta pay to play man.

No, not power bill... Total available power.

However, With this cross-platform gaming, I'd love to see a LAN where it's not necessarily a PC lan, where console gamers can come play too.. because there's a lot of people that game on consoles just because it's cheaper. Very interesting times coming up

Interesting idea, but it transformed geekwars (the tiny ass little lan I do with a buddy) into more of a party instead of a LAN. People are usually too busy playing DDR/GC/watching movies. Sad

So if the issue is power why cant we just play one at a time rather than forking out another $62...

Because people wont shut off their computer when they run the console.

I have a laptop, I wont need to have it wired all the time, plus considering how bad it is I probably wont be playing it much...especially if there are many other people with 360's Very Happy. Personally I'm just going to have fun in general, not neccessarily to play PC.

Trip the power, and I look for why instantly. If you have broken the rules, you will be kicked out. It's not fair for the people abiding by the rules to be without power. Sorry to have to bring the smackdown, but c'mon guys, listen to the rules.

Listen to me when I say 1 computer per seat. Consoles ARE computers. If you have a problem with the policy click here.

Locking thread, the policy is stated and can not be clearer.
