Yeah, I have had the same issue on my server with lag including going to and from the nether and only in this patch, I think its mostly a rendering thing and a fresh restart after some people start rendering it should help fix the issue or just plain turning it off till next patch i think its borked since 1.2.2

I have to apologize to anyone who has tried to use the server in the morning.

Windows 7 is so smart that when I moved the old server to backup, I didnt change the shortcut in the startup folder and it was trying to load the old server and failing.

New startup shortcut created and those problems should be gone.

Did some trouble shooting and found that the Groupmanager plugin may have been causing the huge amounts of lag we were seeing in game. Replaced groupmanager and Server seems to be running much better now. If anyone gets any message indicating they dont have permission to do something, please let me or smileymouse know so we can fix it. IF you are supposed to be able to do it Very Happy

If anyone sees a plugin that they want on the server let me know, and I will take a look and see if I want to include it. Nothing that vastly changes the game mechanics for free will be considered. IE, we have runecraft on the server, but it requires you to spend time collecting resources to use the different runes.

In other words TANSTAAFL - there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Some server new everyone. Residence has had a minor update that fixes the max protection height bug. We will have to recreate the residences in the Central Hub, and you should recreate any residences outside the central hub.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Sorry the server is down. Having problems with Internet connection from home. But once solved should result in even better game play as I will have 25/25 internet instead of 20/5.

1.2.3.4 came out today.

Biggest thing Is say was that each log type now gives a unique plank type/color. So we have 4 colors of planks now, wooden villages/towns will have some variety.

Problem was Frontier tried to update something in the Optical Network Terminal for my FIOS and the stupid thing locked up. I was 20 miles away at work and couldnt fix it until I got home.

The currently rendered borders go out to 3000 from spawn in a circle. But there is no hard border set in the server, you want to go out by youself to BFE be my guest Very Happy

Anyone know someone that could make a super cheap, read free, simple website to host all the server info?

Bah...I had just "helped" the villagers in those two villages close to my "house" harvest their fields. Had 5 stacks of seeds and two stacks of wheat...

Then server crashed, reverted my inventory, back in first village, but all the wheat is still harvested, dogs are missing, etc. Its like I got rolled back, but the enviroment didn't.

And that "hell I'm leaving guy" is back.

Boom, server went down for second time 0.o.

When I go to the Dynamic map, Elendanis shows up in the creative world. He might have tried to go their, could be related 0.o
