Thx guys - she would want me to have fun so I'll be there as much as I can.

I'll be bringing the ol' popcorn mod for some free popcorn for all. I loaded up on seeds, oil, and seasonings

Razz

Why don't they make songs about LAN's.... stupid artists.

Anyway, hope to see you all there tonight. I gotta clean out my case and look all "shiny" for the ball, but I'll be there!

So...it's OK if your stuff burninates and it's your fault? Don't plan on going to sleep old man.

Indeed! I think (hope) he means "NOT a UPS (anything with a battery)" as usual.

I prefer to use my surge protecting strip becuase it has insurance if anything gets through to my system.

The process for actually getting a claim out them is ridiculous btw...Still a good idea to get a good one from a good company, but getting them to pay for electrical damages is nearly impossible unless you can prove the surge...

^ It's an APC. I've heard their claim system and support is pretty good, which is why I bought this one.

I wanted to say thanks to GNWLAN for hosting a good LAN this weekend. It's a solid event, well planned, well sponsored. Overall - well executed. I had a good time seeing so many friends, and playing games with you all. I'll miss GNW8 (Camping), but see you at GNW9.
