Guess who's a Lian Li lifer from now on. Reply with quote
So I have a broken piece of one of my lian li cases. I sent an email to them asking if they had a replacement part. He replied with this.

"Hi ,

Please advise your case color . I will check if we still have parts available ."

So of course I'm thinking okay long shot but okay. I tell him the case color and that any other color will do...

This is what I get in response...

"Hi Kyle ,

I don’t have any in stock ,but I can make one for you .

However , I will need 2 weeks to do it ,and send you to you by EMS from Taiwan .

This is free ..

I will let you know when I ship it ,and advise you the tracking number ."

WOW. Never has a company stepped up to the plate for me like this ever for a $5 piece of aluminum.

Not only has Lian Li stolen my heart, they've also stolen all the money in my wallet.

I've always liked Lian Li cases. Simple, clean, light-weight.

That's pretty legit. Make sure you follow up and let us know when the part arrives.

Thats very cool of them to do, not many companies out there would do that, especially after they have to make the part in your case color etc.

I love Lian-Li cases because they are a great blank slate to start with for modding. Very low profile and clean ready for cutting or painting.

Yeah, seconded... That's pretty dang cool of them.

Companies today have gotten so large they often forget what basic customer satisfaction is, and how easy it is to make a consumer happy. It's the small things like this that can make a sea of seemingly identical companies really stand out from the rest!

Agreed, funny how $1 worth of aluminum can make someone so happy. Lian li is a really great company I just wish they had some more USA base customer service. English translation can be a little rough at times. But we worked it out!

I had a similar problem. Bought a Lian Li case a while ago and when it came i the tabs on the face had broken off, probably from shipping. I took a photo and emailed the vendor, they forwarded it to the importer and two weeks later I had a package from Taiwan waiting for me at post office. I had already fixed the tabs, but I was so impressed I sold it and dropped $400 on an even better Lian Li case. Definitely a fan for life.

I got two LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58 cases on Clearance and after doing 2 very different builds I can say my favorite case for the money all time. Given these were going for $80 normal price I would have paid $100 had I known how good the quality was. These were Steel and plastic cases but they still oozed quality everywhere. I can't couch for customer service but damn am I impressed on their cheapest line of cases I can't wait to try a top of the line model.
