I doubt you will find any Xbox 360 "dedicated" LANs around here aside from a few friends getting together and hooking up their systems.

Best bet is something like PAX where they have a bunch of Console and PC stuff.

*Agreed* Console LAN's don't really exist for some reason. Realistically, it'd be actually pretty simple to set up.

Penny Arcade Expo, read the FAQ for background.
Once a year though, so it's not a frequent or semi-frequent LAN.

I have been looking for something similar and there really isn't anything out there.

I think if enough people got together, you could probably get one going at PDXLan.

The 360 does not require any special consideration when it comes to LAN play, really, so I'm sure the organizers could accommodate a group of 360 players.

Basically all you need is the VGA cable (or and HDMI 360 w/ HDMI Monitor), a monitor, and some form of headphone system for sound+voice, like the stuff made by Turtle Beach, Tritton, and Astro.

One of the 360s would have to host. I don't think the 360 supports dedicated hosting, but I'm not sure.

I assume it could be done pretty seamlessly. I wish the organizers would dedicate some space for 360 LAN play.

It is a lot easier to transport my 360 than my big ass computer.

What's stopping you from organizing a group of people to sit at one table with their 360's at PDXLAN? Obviously you'd get more takers with a public announcement but if there's really a group that wants to do this I'm sure you could find each other on the forums here. I'm not dismissing the idea of an official setup, just saying that for now do with what you've got and the official support will follow.

They could even use a bigger TV if they got multiple seats.
