| I have a serious issue about that. I have a 750W supply and "swapping" out a power supply for a LAN is not a "feasible" option. What "arrangements" do we need to make? |

In short - we don't have time to check every PSU that enters the building. The only time you're going to get checked is if your table manages to blow a breaker.
As stated in the FAQ most machines don't even get close to 600W. My i7 w/ a GTX295, a GTX260, and 8 HDDs will only hit ~ 550W under benchmarking load, most systems shouldn't have a problem.

If you have a 750 watt psu and your system only draws say . . .450 watts . . .then you are not going to PROBABLY create a problem . . . if it were me I would have a Killawatt meter and if you did have a 750 watt psu and something did happen you can at least show you do not pull more than 450 watts . . .but they still can kick you out . . .

Uhm, yah... I'm not gonna go bootleg office 2007 to open this waiver. This is ridiculous. Is this the first PDXLAN 14 contest? Those who open the .mdi get a prize?
I should print that out and bring it to the LAN with my ID and a signature. I haven't complained much in the past events for much at all so here goes.

THIS IS STUPID. POST A DAMN PDF. YOUR USERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CONVERT IT AND HOST IT OFF-SITE JUST SO WE CAN HAVE A WAIVER.
