Crying or Very sad "don't have any plans to support LAN" (Local Area Networking), and clarified saying "we will not support it.

Ok WHAT THE F**K
That has got to be one of the single simplest features to include. What on earth could compel them to not do this! I read the canned response, that battle net is popular enough, but to not include LAN?
That's absolutely ridiculous.

I'm pissed. That's horrifying.

I'm hoping someone makes a mod for LAN.

This is going to teach them that it isn't possible. Now were taking the hit for there soon-to-be-failed attempts at anti-piracy.

Remember Spore? The DRM measures were defeated before the game even came out, and then the people who paid for it were left with a crippled copy of the game.

Vista right? Aero View messes with SC.

Right click and hit properties on the .exe or shortcut. Hit compatibility, then mess with those settings. The disable visual themes check box works for most people.

Is Starcraft going to be on the list again? If so that is BALLER STATUS!

there is no problems as long as it loads up the map prefectly. I know there was a problem with some players who had the lines or even the resultion was very small but putting it on 640-480 and 256bit on compadablity mode fixed it right up Very Happy

Got everyone added. Please note that you will still have to sign up AT THE LAN. This will make it a LOT easier for me since I some people will probably forget that they signed up.

Hopefully I can have them make an announcement.

ALSO NOTE: I believe that Starcraft is going to be on the RTS vote... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote for it as getting official prizes would be baller. Should Starcraft NOT be the RTS I will still hold the tournament.

Please pay attention to what happens at the LAN and if you have any questions come talk to me at my seat Smile

haha, the text in the red at the top shows the beta isnt going to be released on the 17th, even though SCIENCE proved that it would be.

Maybe you've seen me around on TL.net Razz
