Heroes of Newerth Closed Beta

Is anyone else in the beta? I'm not really that good nor have I ever played dota.

I got no more myself also, they gave a beta if you were fileshack mercury member, and then they today gave 3 keys from S2 Games for friends.

Well obviously, I can't really talk about this, but it is GOOD AND FUN! But pisses me off just as much as DOTA lol

GFX are waaaaay better than WC3 engine thats for sure

Well made game, this is really what DotA should have been.
In any case, avoid Armadon, he's possibly the most useless Hero in the game. His ability spamming is nice, but does too little damage.

Razorback. His ultimate is a buff, a good sign to avoid playing that hero.

Well i wouldn't say he is useless as his slow is very stackable, he just takes a little more finesse to play.

As for the people that complain that this is too close to dota, if you look a little more into the background of the game you will find out that is exactly what it is supposed to be. They asked IceFrog permission to make it and yet i feel that they have updated it enough to give it a personality more than what dota has. I've enjoyed all the games i have played and as far as stability is concerned it is amazing for a beta. And the persistent stats are nice, far less leavers than dota.
