If you have a 1200 watt power supply, buy two seats. To do this, you will have to register under another name and purchase the second seat under that name.

You have 600w per seat. Period. If you have a 1200w power supply, I don't see bringing a second computer.

Please read the FAQ or search the forums since this question has been submitted about 10 times per event.

You will be fine with 1200w PSU since you said your pc only use 550w. Even I use 1200w too and my rig use up to around 850w, I use it at pdxlan 4 times and no problem. I am not only one who use high psu, most of them have 850w PSU or more. No one will check your psu at PDXLAN. Dont waste your money buying another seat. Unless you want to bring two computers then ofc you would need to buy 2nd seat. Welcome to pdxlan and you will enjoy it!

Also here is forum discussing abt psu too http://www.pdxlan.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13174, hope that helps.

While no one checks it, people that are outside the limits risk being told they can not re plug in if it is determined that their system is over powered.

My wife and I buy 3 seats for every lan we go to. The extra space is nice to spread out and not feel like a sardine.
