Wing Commander was my first real foray into PC gaming. I had to buy 1mb of RAM to upgrade my 386/16 to play it. Cost me $200 per mb and I bought 2. Wow.

Wing Commander was released on September 26, 1990

X-Wing Alliance was released on 28 February 1999

bit 'o difference in the screenshots, but a bit 'o time in between as well.
