Will bulk foods such as rice or oatmeal be accepted in large Ziploc bags?

I would highly doubt it. There would be no way of knowing where it came from etc. My guess is sealed original packaging only...of course I'm only taking an educated guess here.

Yes, 10:30AM-Midnight on Saturday

Items must be factory sealed. ZipLocks are not ok.

Also was thinking of larger Bags from like 20 to 50lb bags of rice.

anything that they sell in large lb's

A 10/20/30 pound bag of rice and flour is fine. Just be sure they are not leaking.

If I was a food bank I would not accept not labeled/branded foods.

If I was a homeless I would not really care.

But then at the same time they take it and split it up into smaller bags. So it's anybodies guess

No ziplocks - factory sealed containers only.

Is there a limit to bulk items

Yes. 1 bulk item of a particular type.

10 50/lb bags of rice = no.

10 different items (Rice, Flour, Beans, Water, etc) = ok.

Will you be doing group weigh ins?

No. This messes with the Unlock system and there is a potential for abuse.

While I wish we could, that may be pushing it.

30,000 lbs is very doable. Only 75 pound per person on average. Come on lets shoot for it!

Is there a flyer available that I could post in my place of work? I'm working on something now, however someone may have more talent than I do, and a nice one may get more attention! Smile

Just confirming; I saw that the coffee needs to be "ground and sealed" so that means no Starbucks or whole bean bags, correct?
