Mass Effect (PC) Reply with quote
So anyone here got this game yet?

Is anyone having serious bugs? For example, the common not being able to save bug.
Or in my special case, having the navigator screen not work properly.

Otherwise, its very enjoyable. Almost makes me think of picking up a console.
Looks pretty good for an xbox 360 port too.

I've got 38 hours into Mass Effect. Probably the best $50 I've spent (on a game) in quite a few years. It's a great story line. The no save issue and the Galactic Map issue only happen to users who attempt to use the NO-CD .exe.

I have bought both the 360 and now the PC versions of the game, if that is any indication of how much I like it

I've beaten the PC version with no problems so its probably something to do with you using a hacked EXE or something.

Better than Bioshock then?

I would say it's deeper and has more replay value than Bioshock.

/agree

I'm on my 2nd playing of BioShock, but it's on hold, because I plan on playing through Mass Effect AGAIN, after I beat it, playing as a different character type and attempting different part of the story line. (Renegade vs Paragon)

Hope you're keeping track on how many times you have installed and activated. 3 activations, and that's all they wrote.

On my 3rd time through, 2nd class and still enjoying it. If you are playing through it again on the same career, just remember: it's the same difficulty level as you set up on that career. Have to make a new career character to up the difficulty.

If you call EA with the support number on the back of the booklet with the UPC and your keycode you can gain additional activations. According to Bioware.
