Don't see a problem with it. Do you?

Nice TV dude...lol.

Anyway, its cool that the Wii is appealing to an older demographic but I can see why. Its a lot easier to point at an object on a screen then to use duel analog sticks in concert with triggers and buttons to kill someone in Halo.

Do you get good centralization from your center speaker even though its mounted 6-7ft up on the wall?

It looks clean as hell up there. I never tried mounting the center above my TV because of that reason. I'm really picky about warmth and detail in whatever im listening to and was concerned it would be diminished.

That is Yamaha YST 1000 . . .sound bar. It is not adequate for the room so I have someone making custom speakers for me (high grade speakers). I am also going to get one of the new Denon 4308CI receivers with HDMI 1.3 when they come out hopefully in June. I will use the Soundbar as a center speaker at that time unless it sounds horrible.

DB when you get all that stuff set up I'd sponsor you a pizza if i could check it out Smile

Been eyeballing the exact same receiver myself. It need to come out already imo Smile

Have you ever listened to a set of Paradigm speakers? They are amazing. Part of me tells you NOT to listen to them because you'll either end up with a pair and a hole in yoru wallet or you'll have them haunt your audiophile dreams. Theres a little audiophile store in downtown portland that sells them along with Theta amps in stock among other amazing kit.
