Happy Birthday Dreamcast!!!

Happy Birthday Dreamcast, you are now 10 years old. Oh how I've enjoyed the many and frustrating hours on Hydro Thunder. I've even gone as far as to get multiple controllers to take them apart to Frankenstein me the best feeling controller.

I remember connecting a 100ft phone line to your modem to browse the web on my old 50" Big Tube. I remember going to Hollywood Video about 2 weeks early to be able to rent you before your release date (and plunking down the $300 fee/safety deposit).

Connecting the broadband adapter Dreamcast Mouse and Dreamcast keyboard to browse the web at 640x480 was a hoot at best, but to be able to pwn Dreamcast Q3A players while on my pc was obscenely enjoyable.

You've survived a lot, including some lans (thanks to awesome vga adapter) and here's to another 10 years more.

i have that same vga box

i miss the heyday. i used to be a staffer on dcemulation.com, such an active homebrew scene for a long time... fond memories of being so hooked on skies of arcadia i'd play for days on end, falling asleep with the controller in my hand. wake up and go right back at it.

I also own a DC. with a large large library of games Very Happy

I may bring it to 14.5, w/ PS and Soul Calibur and DOA 2 and Gaunlet Legends.. I also got a VGA adapter for it..

I dont have the BB adapter, if anyone does and willing to sell it for less than 50 bucks gimme a PM. its running 150 on ebay since they are so rare..
