Charity work at PDXLAN:

PDXLAN incorporates a charity component into each event it does. Together, attendees as a community aim to reach $30,000 in donations to chosen local charities. Attendees will be able to give to the chosen charity on this page. Attendees will also be able direct their family and friends give to this charity to help raise funds.

Our charity selection process selects only official charities (501 c3) that get the dollars you donate to the programs that need it most.

This Spring 2023 PDXLAN attendees will be raising money for “Forward Stride” – a great local based charity.

The more each attendee raises, the more chances they’ll have to win in the PDXLAN charity raffle at the end of the event. Every $10 donated will get ( 1 ) charity raffle ticket.  Attendees are encouraged to get their family, friends, neighbors, and workplaces involved for this spring’s charity drive. Our community alone can’t raise this much – but by encouraging our community to work at their own micro-drives with the people they know, we can accomplish something great!

About Forward Stride:

Forward Stride’s mission is to enhance quality of life through horse-centered activities and therapies. This means that every program, clinical or not, has the power to have lasting therapeutic benefit to its participants. Their seven programs are organized into three categories of services: Equestrian Sports, Clinical Services, and Personal Development.

Step 2:
Click on the yellow “Donate Now” link at the bottom of this page and then click the green “Donate” button on the fundraiser page you are taken to.

Step 3:
After clicking the green donate button you will be taken to a page to enter your email, donation amount, Display name, and a comment. Please make sure to put the attendee’s PDXLAN gamer handle that they have given you in the “Display Name” field. Do NOT check “Give anonymously” – your name will not show, just the display name you entered will. 

Step 4:
Tell the attendee you made a donation in their name
