For the first time ever PDXLAN will host the “Battle Stations” contest. The Battle stations contest is all about making your seat and table space at the LAN look amazing. Be it Christmas lights, sound activated mood lighting, Monster can holder, or a special way of configuring your PDXLAN seat and table space to look like the ultimate gaming station at the LAN.
Groups are also encouraged to take part in this. Maybe your group strings Christmas lights over their computers by way of a 6-foot pole anchored to the tables. Maybe your group has custom flags or battle standards.
To help you start planning, make sure that anything you plug in doesn’t go over your power rating per seat. Also make sure that you don’t annoy your neighbor with lights as bright as the Sun.
